Geosynthetic clay liners are geocomposite products that combine high-strength geotextile materials with sodium bentonite granules through mechanical bonding. These liners are widely used in construction projects that require effective waterproofing and impermeability. The primary purpose of geosynthetic clay liners is to reduce water permeability and prevent water from penetrating the structure. Sodium bentonite granules have a high water absorption capacity. When in contact with water, they swell and create a barrier within the structure, effectively blocking the passage of water.

Geogrids

Geogrid products are the key geosynthetics for the stabilization of soils, asphalt and similar structure. Geogrids absorb forces originating from road and structure so can be installed to provide the required the base and the sub-base reinforcement. Geogrids are more strong tension compare with soil. The increased bearing capacity of the soil by allowing the forces on the soil to transfer over a wider area and absorb the incoming stresses. It is made of polypropylene or polyester strips of equal tensile strenght in longitudial and transverse direction. Using a computer controlled laser welding technology, these strips are connected to create consistently rigid joints throughout the reinforcement layer.

Nonwoven Geotextiles

Nonwoven geotextile materials are produced by needle-punching and heat treating high-strength 100% pure polypropylene fibers. These materials are known for their durability and versatility, making them suitable for various applications in different projects. The needle-punching process involves interlocking the fibers together, enhancing their strength and structural integrity. Heat treating the nonwoven geotextiles further improves their performance. The heat treatment process involves subjecting the material to controlled heat, which helps to stabilize the fibers and enhance their properties. This results in increased tensile strength, tear resistance, and overall durability of the geotextile.
