Purtex

Purtex

Advancements in construction materials have led to various product options, minimizing technical errors. Diverse product range and easy application yield positive outcomes. Yet, proper product use remains crucial. Dual-component solutions like Purtex effectively address issues, especially on roofs and terraces.

Functions

Two-component insulation systems consisting of solvent-free polyurethane resin and fiber reinforcement provide a solution to challenging issues that traditional insulation methods may not address effectively. Especially designed for areas such as roofs, terraces, and parking lots, this system can be applied onto wet surfaces while being wet itself. It finds prominent applications in various areas including green roofs, parking deck tops, balconies, pools, gutters, roof channels, and expansion joints. This innovative insulation system offers long-lasting protection through its durable resin and fiber reinforcement, effectively addressing different structural details.

Design for shallow foundation

The most important differential feature for Purtex is the fiber reinforcement elements from the other insulation products. Thanks to the full-surface reinforced system, Purtex has permanently elastic cycle and and tensile strength so that insulation are not damaged and cracked and workmanship defects are eliminated. During application; • The substrate must be dry (max. moisture 5%) • Sound and free form sharp edges, dust, oil, grease or any type of separating sustances • Continious shrinkage or settlement cracks should be repaired • If necessary, prime the substrate either with a Purtex epoxy or polyurethane primer • Not be added foreign materials • Be applied in two coats • Not be applied under rain • Not be diluted with water • Protected against the weather conditions until product hardening
