Protex PolyLock is a versatile new generation waterproofing system specially developed for tunnel waterproofing. It provides strong protection by combining self-healing polymer-modified sodium bentonite granules or bentonite powder with an impermeable PE film layer and active polymer layer. It occurs an active layer throughout the life of the structure.
Functions
After one hydration, BentoShield swells to form an impermeable, effective hydraulic barrier against liquids, water vapor, and gases. It outperforms meters-thick compacted clay with less than one centimeter thickness when used in storage areas.
